Sainsbury’s Bexleyheath invited Bexley Foodbank for a fundraising collection and the Foodbank would like to thank staff and customers sincerely, for the kindness and generosity they have shown over the last 5 years. Please know it is really appreciated. They have been going through a season of not having enough food to give out, so they were grateful to those who support their work. Last year they fed 5,517 people in our community. Since April, they have fed 3,045 people.
They would expecially like to thank Sainsbury’s Bexleyheath being able to collect money at our store recently. We raised £350.78, which will go towards buying foods they are short of. This was kindly arranged with Annie Wong, who is also a volunteer for Bexley Foodbank at Erith.
There will be many families grateful for your kindness and support.
Sainsbury’s Bexleyheath would like to thank Gill Bates, Bexley Foodbank Manager, for co-ordinating volunteers for this event.

Danny Styles, Store Manager of Sainsbury’s Bexleyheath said “ I am over the moon that our customers were yet again so generous and supportive of this worthy cause. It is wonderful that so many local people can be supported through this generosity”.
